TAG

Carynn tagged me to answer these questions, so here it goes!:

1. What's the most important thing you learned from your mother?
Patience.  The woman deals with me AND the rest of my family on a daily basis. Also, the ability to apologize and be apologized to all in one.  Usually, in a argument, there are right's and wrong's to each side of things, my mother's ability to allow me to see her side, command an apology, but also be sympathetic and apologize herself has taught me so much in argumentation.  I am and will always be a firm believer in the "don't go to bed mad," idea. I definitely owe my ability to solve problems with other people reasonably to her.

2. How did you/will you know you're with the right one?
I am not sure if there really is an answer to this question until I AM with the right one. I certainly know if I am not with the right "one"... But hey, he may be the right NOW "one" and that's okay too.  Every relationship has a lesson to learn.  I don't believe you meet a person and just KNOW they are your soulmate. It's all about happenstance, the relationship you develop with that person. How they react to your great moments and whoas as well. So much goes into choosing who to spend your life with, I could go on forever. Therefore, this question has no answer, or infinite answers.

3. What has been the most beautiful moment in your life this far?
This might sound so silly, but I have yet to have a monumental moment in my life (such as having a baby or getting married).  So, thus far, the most beautiful moment in my life was last April when I saw Arcade Fire perform at Coachella.  Not only was the band just pure and raw and stunning live, but the energy in the crowd, in the 80,000 people piled around the stage, sweating, breathing, screaming, singing, so excitedly for the love of music was so intense. I cried my eyes out.  A lot had to do with the band and their energy, but the positivity coming from the people surrounding me was so beautiful, it was almost overwhelming. It was as if their endorphins and energy were being passed to me and everyone else around me. We fed off of one another and shared an amazing moment with complete strangers, 79,999 of them in fact.

4. What do you believe is the coolest thing about women?
Our ability to relate to one another. I don't think men experience this in the same way. Sure, they bond, they have "bromances," but they still think it's weird that girls go to the bathroom together, and GUESS WHAT! IT'S NOT. Women like peeing together. They also like sharing clothes and talking about their period and comparing many aspects of their lives and they share a bond so strong, only we can understand it. Much like peeing together.

5. How do you get yourself to feel better when you're having an "ugly day?"
Dress myself in a pretty, girly blouse or dress and wear red lipstick. Red lips always make me feel like a rockstar.

6. What is the most beautiful thing about you?
I have a unique eye color that a lot of people comment on. I recently lost weight and I now have a jaw line, which I love, and I show it off, along with my neck with my short haircut.  It makes me feel feminine and pretty.

7. Who loves you?
I am blessed with a big family and a lot of very loving friends, I feel extremely grateful and only hope I show my love equally to them!!!! <3

8. Why do you keep a blog?
I write in a personal journal as well; let's face it, not EVERYTHING should be out there on the internet. But I like keeping a blog because sometimes, it's nice to know at least someone is reading what you have to say, even if it's nonsense.

9. What song do you sing the loudest to in your car? (Post a youtube video!)
I think you can relate to this one, Carynn.

10. Where do you go when you need to get away?
On a run, usually. If I need to go farther, Northern California or San Diego.

11. When do you think you became a grown-up?
Probably this year, honestly. Especially now that I don't live at home again!

My questions for whoever wants to answer, really... I know a lot of you already have answered some!
